Athlon II X2 2.9Ghz 4G ram, 500HD, Dual Boot Win7_64 & XP3_32, ATI HDTV WONDER Quote 22nd Mar 201016:42 #2 usually_quiet View Profile View Forum Posts Member Join DateAug 2006 I'd tried the lasted v.916 but DTV wasn't listed in the media table. What is your own computer hardware? Then I installed the "6-1 hdtv 83-2036 wdm.exe" driver from ati/amd. news
It may be OK if the HDTV wonder stays in your old system. @DarrellS: Thanks for the recommendation, but if I do get another PC tuner in the near future, it Because HDTV Wonder in High Def OTA is indistinguishable (to my eyes) when compared to HD QAM over Cable. Media center never worked as well as the ATI software when I used it under XP. So when you said, you got rid of all the extras, what extras are you talking bout?
I'm using Comcast cable and recently upgraded to HD. It's supposed to be UHF/VHF but obviously it isn't and it's a powered antenna. I've burned three seperate discs to use and none of them work.
Or you can use Driver Doctor to help you download and install your ATI All-in-Wonder HD TV Tuner drivers automatically. I have them both set up in a RAID 0 array. What is going to happen after the transition in feb? The channels don't get lost, but the TV shows no signal when it is started.
The tuner was not supposed to be very good. I didn't even think the HDTV Wonder card would work anymore after XP but it works like new! Also as i understand it, the problem doesn't reside in wmc (my preferred choice) so you are running 32 bit I take it? @bobzdar that sucks I really want this card here Quote 23rd Mar 201001:43 #3 NautTboy View Profile View Forum Posts Private Message Member Join DateMar 2005 Ok, profile has been updated since 2005.
Only running over the air though, as I don't have cable hooked up to my computer anymore like I used to. Then I looked at your Tom's Hardware post and the card is from 2004 or 2006. I had a friend of mine get into an argument with me because he thought he needed to have an HDTV or an HD cable/satellite box after February because he didn't Doing a similar attempted search for proper drivers for an All-In-Wonder product, we come back to that point I asked about previously.
Instead, use original drivers fro hardware vendor. http://www.diamondmm.com/tvw650pci-ati-amd-tv-wonder-hd-650.html You can use two ways to download drivers and update drivers easily and quickly from here. I know because I'm doing it. It will most likely be a USB device.
I think the ver 9.10+ is now call Catalys Media. Last edited by usually_quiet; 23rd Mar 2010 at 18:58. I haven't tried my Philips HDTV antenna since they switched to digital. I have an antenna on my chimney ...
After the restore, surprisingly everything worked. Driver DR is a professional Windows drivers download site, it supplies all devices for ATI and other manufacturers. Virtually every SD capture card can upscale SD to HD for display (actually done by the software). At one point, there were only 3 drivers of the 5 that were present under Win 7.
DIY antenna seem interesting but with parts it will cost the same as a new one at Walmart. I wanna know how to to setup schedule recording too. Are you saying that in the wtv files, it includes CC(subtitle)?
I'd kinda like ATI MMC better. Next, I went to ATI's website to find drivers, and there were none. And when people on the "tech" side of things still aren't clear, it really hits home that this was not the best handled process. [/rant] For your PC silencing needs...check out But you're really underpowered on that machine of yours.
