The only game i have constant crashes is this one, i also play a lot of other games on max settings without any kind of problem, Path of Exile, Diablo 3, I've not left my laptop on for more than a day, so i haven't noticed any memory leak problem (though, I wasn't looking for it). What makes this so frustrating is that very few people have this issue, therefore nothing official is being done about it. It also occurs when you overclock your Card, ie. This will be “apt-get install -f”. bmaupin (bmaupin) wrote on 2015-09-10: #12 Same problem with Xubuntu 14.04.3.
After automatic installation and reboot, everything is ok, except that Xorg process in system monitor uses about 80MB of RAM, and despite everything, memory usage of Xorg is growing with time. What I think is that AMD sucks at Linux driver sets :) I.e., still using Loki; still using 32bit libraries etc. http://wccftech.com/amd-outs-catalyst-1591-beta-resolves-memory-leak-issue/ For example, C:\Windows. Good Luck! There have been instances where ccc.exe would use around 4-5GB of RAM out of a total of 8GB and shoot to ~80% CPU usage. Diablo3 new patch makes it quite enjoyable again, so i will just play that instead until it is fixed ... 0 AgentNikki GazillionLocation Upsetti eating spaghettiPosts: 880 Staff March 2014 @Croustibatfr
