FOR VISTA YOU WOULD HAVE TO SELECT IN DEVICE MANAGER, RIGHT CLICK YOUR GRAPHICS CARD (STANDARD AGP CARD IT SHOULD SAY) AND CLICK UPDATE. Try something like Catalyst 5.1 or so. Yet when you manually try a few of the drivers int he package, i finally got my card to work. (for me it was the first inf file, second last driver)
I just want to underclock the GPU to keep the system cool and the fan off. Once the installation completed and the laptop rebooted I got black screen (it was clearly lit yet black: nothing at all was displayed). I used Troubadix's catalyst 5.10 driver mod package (nice job!), and everything seems to work fine but I see no ATI clock/memory frequency reduction in AC or in battery mode, as You can not post a blank message.
Btw I tried 1rd637ww.exe before as well and was getting crashes in ati3duag.dll as already mentioned in one of my posts above. available.Ciao, troubadix Hi, I can't seem to get Powerplay to underclock the GPU at AC or battery.. I already tried installing the latter package on my T42 with 7500 in question before. I've installed the 1400x1050 pixel LCD panel but the problem is still there, I have 60Hz as the monitor refresh rate. Is there any chance to get the ATI MOBILITY RADEON 9000 (Microsoft Corporation - XDDM) driver directly from you?
