just a thought, i do not have this rig hooked up to a tv or cable yet. Install the recommended display driver for your graphics product. 3. really annoying though. maybe i have a setting wrong somewhere?

Really starting to erk me! For HD playback, the X1xxx series gives "somewhat GPU assisted" playback, for example. im kinda baffled here...any other ideas? Hope that helps with your questions.

i did all the updates prior to installing any drivers. Are the Virus Definition files current or and is the license current or expired on your Norton AV ? That tool is not part of the normal scan; you have to look around for it. running windows media center edition, with all updates.
