I have decided to replace the nVidia card with an equivalent ATI card. Still don't have the plug-in configured yet. I wish HP would support this site with some additional testing and scripts.

Have the newest versions of all the ALSA stuff from the repos. Then once they're installed, how do we test? I have been looking for a few weeks.. I have no idea where to get the Windows drivers for the wireless card but had read somewhere that 3rd party drivers were available.
I can get KWin's compositing features through XRender, but no ?OpenGl with this driver. This causes inconvenience for users who must rebuild the driver against each new kernel update.
