When I plugged it in, the image displayed did not fill the whole screen, everything was blurry and it looked like there was something wrong with the monitor. Process Monitor does not show the full data but a bit of experimentation and zooming in with RegEdit showed that the relevant bytes are in both DALR6 and GDOADJR6 - in By the sounds of it this exactly what AMD were trying to work around.
